The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is welcoming an investment by the Province into the tech sector.
The province is pledging $100 million to a venture capital fund.
CEO Dianne Hawkins says there are lots of opportunities to grow the tech sector in the region.
Hawkins says tech is a growing sector on Vancouver Island as it’s an industry where you can be located outside a major centre, but still do business nationally and internationally.
