Homeless Vigil in Campbell River

A vigil was held in Campbell River Monday night to raise awareness of the challenges facing the homeless in the city.

It was organized by the group Grassroots Kind Hearts.

Spokesperson Diane deHaan says they would like to see more shelter options available for people on the street.

The vigil was held in remembrance of the five homeless people who died on the streets in Campbell River this past year.
