NIC offering building service worker training

North Island College is offering free building service worker training to a limited number of students.

Spokesperson Christiana Wiens says it’s offered with support from the government of Canada and British Columbia through the Canada BC Job Fund.

She says it’s an especially great opportunity for students in the Campbell River area.

Wiens says it’s a chance to be able to work with commercial cleaning companies, maintain camp bunkhouses, or start your own business.

Wiens says they offered it last year, and if you’re interest at all, contact the school to apply.
