A woman is dead after a vehicle crashed into the Comox Estuary this morning, according to RCMP.
The incident happened beside the Dyke road. Upon arrival, officials found the vehicle in the water and located a 72-year-old woman inside. She was taken to hospital and later pronounced deceased.
Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue assisted in the incident, and Mounties continue to investigate what exactly happened this morning.
