The interpretive centre for the John Hart Generating Station is getting a lot of visitors.
BC Hydro Spokesperson Stephen Watson says the centre saw 18,000 visitors last year, and that number is growing. He says it’s open 5 days a week during the summer time, and 3 days during the winter months.
Watson says the interpretive centre is always being updated with new photos and videos of the construction of the John Hart Project. He says it’s a great way to see how the John Hart facility works today and what it will look like going forward.
The centre is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during the winter months.
