WinterJam is off and running in the Comox Valley. The family-friendly winter festival includes a variety of events over a two-week period, including an outdoor skating rink that has been set up in downtown Courtenay.
President of the Downtown Courtenay BIA (Business Improvement Association) Deana Simkin says it’s a great way to encourage people to come out and spend time downtown during the cold winter months.
The outdoor skating rink has been set up on the corner of 5th and England in Courtenay. A full list of activities and events as part of WinterJam can be found at the festival’s website.
WinterJam runs until January 31st.
