Pacific Coastal creating separate service for seaplane operations

Some changes are coming to Pacific Coastal Airlines.

The company has announced it will be separating out its seaplane operations. Spokesperson Vince Crooks says it’s a move that they’ve been working on for a few years.

He says the land and sea-based operations are different enough that it makes more sense to separate the two, and that making this move will allow both components to grow going forward.

The change will take place on March 1st. The new seaplane operation will be called Wilderness Seaplanes.
