Today is the deadline for nominations for the Future 15. Colleen Evans with the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce says the idea for the awards came out of working with groups like the Young Professionals of Campbell River.
She says that in Campbell River, they’ve never really celebrated young professionals; people under the age of 45. She says the Future 15 is about 15 people who are the future of Campbell River and are people you want to keep tabs on going forward to see what they bring to the community.
You can submit your nomination through the Chamber’s website. The awards reception takes place on February 19th.
