Cumberland Council is holding a village hall meeting this evening.
Mayor Leslie Baird says she’s received feedback from people that it can be intimidating to appear before council at a formal meeting.
She says the village hall is a chance to talk to Councillors and bring forward concerns in a more informal setting. Baird adds council looks forward to hearing from everyone and hearing about a variety of issues. She says nothing specific has been put on the agenda for tonight’s meeting.
The meeting gets underway at 7.
