Comox Valley Mounties are again urging residents to keep vehicle doors locked.
Constable Rob Gardner says Mounties have received numerous complaints of thefts from vehicles and in most cases the vehicles had been left unlocked.
He says members have started patrolling and checking car doors.
Gardner notes Mounties are not searching vehicles – they are only checking to make sure that doors are locked.
