BC Ferries getting set for long weekend

BC Ferries is prepping to see more passengers this long Family Day weekend.

Spokesperson Darin Guenette says extra sailings have been added between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay and Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen. Guennette says it’s always a good idea to check out the BC Ferries website for sailing updates and special sailing times.

He says if there’s a specific sailing you’d like to catch, then it may be a good idea to make a reservation.

Guenette notes that Family Day is a quieter long weekend, but Ferries is still expecting extra traffic because of the holiday.
