RCMP investigating home invasion and theft of weapons

Local Mounties responded to a home invasion on Doyle Road in Black Creek last night and are now seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect.

Comox Valley RCMP Constable Rob Gardner says the investigation revealed that the suspect threatened the home owner and stole 3 handguns, 3 rifles, 2 firearm barrels and ammunition.

Gardner says the suspect fled on foot and officers lost track near the intersection of Doyle Road and Islak. It’s believed the suspect then fled in a vehicle.

Gardner says if you have any further information on the case, contact the Comox Valley RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
