A 20-year old man is in custody after a stabbing in Courtenay.
RCMP Constable Rob Gardner says Mounties were called out to a report of an assault with a weapon in the 900 block of Cumberland Road.
The investigation led police to a residence on Edgett Road in Courtenay where the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
No word on the current condition of the victim.
