New support centre opens for military members

A new support centre has opened for military members in the region.

Major-General Derek Joyce is the Deputy Commander, Military Personnel Command.

He says the new Integrated Personnel Support Centre will help injured soldiers. He adds the new Integrated Personnel Support Centre brings together a number of services under one roof to support injured soldiers and veterans.

The centre will provide support for recovery, rehabilitation, and return to service or transition following release. The centre will also provide support for veterans and military families.
