Logger Sports returning to Powell River

Logger Sports are making a return to Powell River.

After an 11 year hiatus – the games return and will take place at Willingdon Beach.

The event will see competitors from New Zealand, Australia, Germany and many other parts of the world competing for the championships at stake.

President of Powell River Logger Sports Bob Marquis says the area is a great venue for the games.

Marquis says they’re looking for volunteers to help with the event. For more information, you can check out powellriverloggersports.com.

The games take place from July 15th to the 17th.
