The Wounded Warrior Run BC is arriving in the Comox Valley this afternoon. The relay runners are making their way down Vancouver Island, on route to Victoria.
Spokesperson Jeff Kibble says the goal of the event is to raise awareness on mental health issues that affect veterans and first responders. He says the first three days have been incredible, with a wealth of community support and interaction.
The runners are expected to arrive in Comox at 888 Squadron at 3 PM.
