Courtenay Fire crews were called out to a travel trailer fire on Fair Road in the Dove Creek area last night. Crew members say it happened at around 6 PM.
The owner used multiple fire extinguishers on the blaze and crews were able to quickly knock it down after arriving on the scene. The trailer had be winterized and was not being used at the time of the fire.
Investigators believe a heater inside the trailer may have sparked the blaze.
