Participants continue their journey to Victoria as part of the Wounded Warrior BC Run.
Runners were in the Comox Valley yesterday, and the Comox Fire Department was able to lend a helping hand. Fire Chief Gord Schreiner says they provided support as runners made their way through the Valley.
The event raises awareness on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other mental health issues affecting veterans and first responders. Runners make their way to Nanaimo today and wrap up the event in Victoria this weekend.
