Future of the Workforce to be discussed at NIC

North Island College is hosting a conference on the Future of the Workforce.

NIC student and event coordinator Chelsea Stickney says the keynote speaker will be touching on how to retain and engage talent, especially with Generation Y. She says that generation is sometimes misunderstood but all generations in the workforce are important.

Stickney says there will be a number of experts presenting. There’s going to be discussions on leading with the brain and the mind – a practice known as neuroleadership.

The event is taking place March 18th. Further information can be found through the events’ website.
