Former First Lady Nancy Reagan passes away

Nancy Reagan has passed away. The former first lady and widow of the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, died of congestive heart failure earlier today.

Numerous tributes have poured out from around the world, including from Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau – who took to Twitter to share his condolences.

Ronald Reagan passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease in 2004. He served as President of the United States from 1981 to 1989.

Nancy Reagan was 94-years-old. She is set to be buried beside her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
