A portion of the Courtenay Riverway has been closed due to damage from the storm.
City of Courtenay CAO David Allen says several sections of the trail at the airpark and south of the airpark are closed. He says staff is looking at cleaning methods and repair strategies at the airpark.
Residents are asked to stay off the pathways until staff can assess and make repairs.
