The City of Courtenay is looking for your feedback on what you’d like to see downtown look like in the future. Consultants presented visualizations as to what downtown could look like at a meeting last night.
The city’s Director of Development Services, Ian Buck, says the information will be posted on the city’s website and a survey has been posted to gather feedback on the matter.
Buck says staff wants to continue to hear from the community – those who have attended meetings held this week and residents who haven’t had the chance to attend.
Buck notes the discussion is still in the high-level, concept stage. Following the consultations, an action plan will be developed with next steps for the future of downtown Courtenay.
