Earth Hour 2016

Earth Hour takes place tonight.

Residents are encouraged to turn off lights and electronics for one hour to show their support for climate change action.

According to the Provincial Government, last year’s Earth Hour resulted in 15 megawatt hours of electricity saved.

Earth Hour is celebrated in more than 7,000 cities worldwide.

The hour runs from 8:30 to 9:30 tonight.
