RCMP is advising residents about a tax scam that’s taking place in the region.
Constable Rob Gardner says police have recently received hundreds of calls from people who have received these calls.
Gardner says if you receive one of these calls, tell the caller you will follow up with the CRA, hang-up and report the call to the Anti-Fraud Centre.
