There’s a wolf advisory up for Cape Scott Provincial Park.
Spokesperson Ben McGibbon says the advisory is to inform pet owners that no dogs are allowed in the park at this time.
He adds there have been recent interactions between dogs and wolves, and the advisory is to ensure the safety of the people, dogs, and wolves.
McGibbon says they haven’t any negative interactions between humans and wolves before, and the goal is to prevent the wolves from becoming habituated to humans or dogs.
