RCMP looking for witnesses to attempted sexual assault

A Comox Valley resident was able to fend off an attacker, and the Comox Valley RCMP continue to look for witnesses to the incident.

Constable Rob Gardner says the victim was attacked near the corner of Centennial Drive and Back Road earlier this morning at around 2:00 AM.

The suspect is described as a 5’10” Caucasian, with a slight build, pale skin, goatee and dark, scruffy hair. Gardner says the suspect was reported to have been wearing jeans and a black or dark grey hoodie, and was said to have bad breath and bad teeth.
