New online service for hunters in BC

The province has launched a new online portal that makes it easier for hunters to access hunting licenses, and application for hunting draws.

Director of Fish and Wildlife, Dan Peterson, says it’s an interactive system so people can better plan for hunting.

Peterson says during the first day of launching the online portal, they had over 1000 online users. He notes there are over 100,000 hunters in the province.

Hunters without internet access can still visit any Service BC, Front Counter BC, or any authorized vendor to apply for an ID in person.
