Man accused of abducting Azer children posts public letter on social media

A father accused of abducting his 4 Comox Valley children and taking them overseas is speaking out on social media.

A man claiming to be Saren Azer has posted to Facebook, saying the kids are happy and safe.

The children’s mother, Alison Azer, issued a public statement after learning of the post, saying the letter is a desperate attempt to confuse family, friends, and supporters in Canada.

Alison says she will be returning to Ottawa to continue to pressure the Federal government to act to bring the kids home.

She says more than 3200 Canadians have signed a petition, calling on the Prime Minister to call the Iranian President to try and get the kids back to Canada.
