People are being reminded to follow the rules in the back-country this weekend.

Enforcement officers will be out, making sure everyone is being responsible when it comes to wildlife, ATV use, and campfires.

Fire Information Officer Marg Drysdale says it’s important people are following the rules.

Drysdale notes that people should also understand what happens if you get caught with a fire. She says it’s not just the person who is having the fire that gets a ticket. It’s everyone around the fire.

The fine for having a category 2 fire is $1150.
