MARS receives new equipment

The Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society has received a donation of new equipment.

President Warren Wartig says the equipment came from the Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre on Salt Spring, which was downsizing.

He says the donation includes a new walk-in freezer and hospital equipment.

Wartig says they are continuing to fund raise for their new hospital facility.
