The Comox Valley Regional District has begun the search for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Current CAO Debra Oakman will be retiring in June of next year.
Board Chair Bruce Jolliffe says Oakman has been key in the district’s administration since it’s formation.
Board Chair Bruce Jolliffe says they want to ensure they find someone who will be the right fit.
Jolliffe says the goal would be to have the new CAO in place before Oakman leaves to help with the transition.
