Comox Fire Crews were called out to a fire off Goose Spit.
Captain Corey Brooks says the call came in yesterday evening. He says that upon arrival, the 20 to 25-foot pleasure craft was fully engulfed in flames.
He says that the occupant was picked up by a passerby, and transferred to the Coast Guard, who then brought the individual to the marina.
The occupant of the vessel was transported to hospital.
