Children’s Day Care Society receives funding for renovations

The Provincial Government is providing funding for new child care spaces in the Comox Valley.

The Comox Valley Children’s Day Care Society is receiving $100,000 for renovations to its Tigger Too facility.

Comox Valley MLA Don McRae says the renovations will let the society expand to provide care for infants and toddlers.

Executive Coordinator Charlene Gray says it’s very hard for parents to find childcare for kids under 3.

Gray says they are hoping to have the renovations done and the new spaces open in the fall.
