A Comox Valley child care advocate has received an award from the BC Government.
Charlene Gray has been presented with the 2016 Child Care Award of Excellence – Lifetime Leadership.
MLA Don McRae says Gray has been a strong leader and advocate for the importance of child care.
He notes that child care can be an area that we often forget about, but it’s something that affects the whole community.
McRae says having good, affordable child care helps not only families, but also the overall community.
