Pump Station Open House

The Comox Valley Regional District is holding an open house tonight on the Comox number 2 pump station.

General Manager of Engineering Services, Marc Rutten says it’s a chance for the public to learn more about the project. Rutten says a new pump station is being proposed as the district looks to reroute some sewer lines away from the Willemar Bluffs.

He notes that there’s been a lot of interest from the local neighborhood they’ve identified as the location of the pump station. The open house is taking place at the CVRD board room from 4:30 to 7.
