Courtenay Fire crews responded to a house fire on Thursday morning.
Fire Chief Don Bardonnex says the fire broke out at a house on Webb Road at around 2:30.
Bardonnex says there was only one occupant, who was able to escape with no injuries.
Bardonnex says it appears the fire may have been electrical.
