Upgrades coming to Cumberland Rec Centre

The Village of Cumberland has selected plans for upgrades to the CRI.

Mayor Leslie Baird says council has chosen to move forward with an addition to the rec centre.

She says they were presented with 3 options, and they decided on option 3, which will see a reception area, 2 offices and a meeting room to be added on to the facility.

Baird says the Village will be applying for federal funding for the project.

She says the details of the upgrades will be dependent on whether the Village receives funding and how much it receives.
