Crews rescue woman at Nymph Falls

The Courtenay Fire Department responded quickly to a call at Nymph Falls on the weekend.

Deputy Chief Kurt McDonald says the incident happened Sunday afternoon. He says it happened at the Barber’s Hole area – a popular swimming spot for residents.

BC Ambulance brought the woman to St. Joseph’s General Hospital, and she was airlifted to hospital in Vancouver. Her current condition is unknown at this time. Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue was called to the scene but were not required.
