Changes could be coming to Comox Marina Vitalization Plan

The town of Comox is looking at possible changes to the marina vitalization plan.

Mayor Paul Ives says the proposals for the project came in over budget from what the town was expecting.

He says they are now looking at modifying the project or doing a phased approach. He says revised plans, if required, should be in place by mid-July.

Ives says they are talking with the contractor to determine next steps.

Ives says they are hoping to be able to get the project underway by August.
