Ground Search and Rescue Crews are offering tips to stay safe in the outdoors this summer.
Paul Berry says one of the biggest tips is to make sure someone knows where you’re going and when to expect you home.
He says that way search crews can be alerted quickly if you’re overdue.
Berry says you should also research the area and the route you’re taking to make sure you have the right equipment with you.
