Cumberland Museum teams up with U-Vic for online exhibit

The Cumberland Museum’s collection of Chinese Artifacts is now available for viewing online.

The museum was one of two chosen to be part of the pilot of the Chinese Canadian Artifacts Project out of U-Vic.

Spokesperson Anna Rambow says it was an opportunity to share the unique collection in Cumberland with the world. She says after a meeting with the University in 2014, the museum became involved with the pilot project.

The other museum joining Cumberland is the Nanaimo Museum. The collection is available online through U-Vic’s website.
