The Town of Comox is recommending a liquor licence be provided to a proposed new taphouse in the Town.
Council voted this week to support the application for a the proposed Church Taphouse pub.
Mayor Paul Ives notes that they’ve received a lot of positive feedback about the project.
He says a tap-house could bring some added vibrancy to downtown Comox. Ives says they received over 200 letters of support to bring a taphouse to the area.
The town’s support will be passed along to the Liquor Control Board, which will make the final decision on whether to approve the licence.
