The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock team will be on the road today.
Spokesperson Tracy Berg says the team will be doing a rehearsal mock tour – riding from Nanaimo to Duncan and back with full escorts of support crew, police cars and motorcycles.
Berg says if you spot any of the riders along your travels, cheer them on as they get set for the Tour. Berg notes there may be some slow traffic along the stretch.
The 2016 Tour de Rock begins September 24th.
