RCMP investigating another collision involving pedestrian

Comox Valley RCMP are reminding all road users to watch out for each other after another pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

It happened at the intersection of Ryan and the Old Island Highway around quarter after 7 Tuesday morning.

Constable Rob Gardner says the 24-year old woman was taken to hospital in serious condition.

Gardner notes this is the fourth crash in three days involving vehicles and other road users.

A 92-year-old pedestrian was killed after being hit while crossing the street in Comox on Sunday.

Yesterday (Monday, August 22), a cyclist was hit from behind in the Lazo area and a skateboarder was struck on 5th street.
