School District 71 has welcomed its new superintendent to the Comox Valley.
Dean Lindquist joined the district over the summer to take over the top administrative role.
He says he’s been impressed with what he’s seen from the district so far. He notes things have been very busy since he started in the position.
Lindquist says one of his priorities moving forward is continuing to engage with community stakeholders to gather feedback on how schools are serving the community.
