MPs return to House of Commons

Members of Parliament are back in Ottawa today as the House of Commons resumes sitting.

North Island – Powell River MP Rachel Blaney says she’s excited to have the new session get underway.

Blaney says seniors issues was one of the primary concerns she heard as she toured the riding this summer.

Blaney says one of her priorities for this session is working with the new Minister of Fisheries and Oceans on the concerns she’s heard from residents in regards to the ocean and environmental protection.
