Suspect in custody for assault on female jogger

The Comox Valley RCMP have arrested a male in connection to an assault on a female jogger last month.

In mid-August, a woman was attacked while jogging in Condor Park in Comox. After a month-long investigation, police have apprehended a 26-year-old Courtenay male suspect.

On August 18th, at around 10:30 AM, it was reported that a female jogger was grabbed by a male while on a run. She managed to escape and the suspect fled onto Robb Road. The RCMP thanks the community for its support and for providing information that led to the man’s arrest.
