Council supports Braidwood Housing Project MOU

The Braidwood Housing Project is moving forward.

Courtenay council has supported the memorandum of understanding between the city, the Wachiay Friendship Centre and the M’akola Group of Societies.

Courtenay CAO David Allen says it’s a way for all 3 entities to communicate during the project development process. Allen says that right now, the main focus is funding for the project.

According to the MOU, a monthly report will be provided to BC Housing and the City of Courtenay‘s project lead by M’akola Development Services.
