Sid Williams Theatre relishing in recent success

Operations are going well for the Sid Williams Theatre.

The local performance centre is the host venue for numerous shows, including stage plays and concerts.

Representatives from the theatre were at Courtenay council this week. General Manager Deborah Renz says people are coming to the theatre, it’s been very busy and has seen a fair share of success recently.

Sid Williams Theatre Society President Darryl Calnan says the meetings are a great way to let councils know the theatre is doing well.

Renz notes one of the plans for the theatre going forward is getting the Legacy Donation Campaign up and running, which would assist with future equipment acquisitions for the theatre and future operational and programming needs.
