New chair for North Island College Board

The Board of North Island College has chosen a new chair.

Derek Lamb has served on the board since 2013. He says one of the main tasks for the chair is building consensus among the board members.

He says the board’s former chair did such a great job pushing the college forward. Lamb says he’s excited to speak to each board member and see what’s important to them going forward.

Lamb says some of the priorities for the board and the college include improving the Campbell River campus and the development of the Courtenay campus.
